Gulf Coast Museum of Military History (GCMMH) is a non-profit organization focused on United States military veteran awareness and offers many compelling stories of our country's veterans through military artifacts from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf wars.
The GCMMH is proud to announce our new Growth and Expansion Initiative. To meet the increased challenges of our Servicemembers in need, and to provide a more accessible military history learning experience, we are now implementing the plan to construct our new 45,000sqft Military History Museum and Veteran’s Advancement Center.
The Veterans Advancement Center (VAC) will be home to multiple local and national veteran’s assistance programs and has been developed to provide aid, support, guidance, and treatment to all veterans.
VAC will be home to our ground-breaking comprehensive “Transition to Civilian” (TTC) program, designed to integrate our soldiers back into society, providing career search and training opportunities above and beyond the minimum requirements provided to them through normal (and standardized) military channels. The VAC will also provide Housing aid, PTSD assistance, physical therapy, information and emergency hotlines and other community integration programs.
Dedicated to all servicemembers who sacrificed their lives for our country and to everlasting peace for mankind. Understanding the scars of war and honoring those who protect us so that we may live free.
